1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every public office. It does not hold official records, perform official checks, retrieve files, or submit paperwork for a user.

Its role is to identify the Union County sheriff and courts, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, along with outside tools that may assist lawful personal research. Official access remains subject to the Tennessee Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. §§10-7-501 through 10-7-515, and TBI's public-check authority in Tenn. Code Ann. §38-6-120.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from this website or a linked tool to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone. Tennessee law places specific limits on Tennessee Sex Offender Registry information, and misuse may carry criminal penalties. Registry data supports community safety awareness, not vigilantism or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check for a regulated purpose must come from the proper Tennessee Bureau of Investigation channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

The site provides no legal advice. General Union County record information cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement rule applies to one person. Ask a licensed Tennessee attorney for advice.

8. Intellectual Property

Union County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required before copying, adapting, distributing, or building upon that material.
